Dr. Tomlinson owns Twin Cities Animal Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Clinic in Minnesota, a busy stand-alone specialty practice. She earned her Veterinary Degree from the University of Liverpool, England in 1996. Her Master’s degree in diagnostic imaging of the equine sacroiliac joint is from the University of Minnesota and her PhD in Physiology (pain meds) is from North Carolina State University. She is board certified specialist in Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and a Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapist (animal ‘chiropractic’ equivalent). She also does clinical research. Her new text book ‘Rehabilitation for Veterinary Technicians and Nurses’ will be published by Wiley in late 2017. Dr. Tomlinson founded the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians (AARV) in 2007.
