The next level of scent work! 

Building on foundation learned in Applied Nosework Class, participants will:

  • Learn how to clean & prepare the scent wheel
  • Set up and run wheel through sessions
  • Learn proper handling of UDC
  • Participate in and learn data collection methods

Odor work skills being developed and perfected in this class:

  • Clear Indication/Trained Final Response
  • Ability to search independently from handler including handler out of sight
  • Learn a “blank wheel”- no positives
  • Be able to work at UDC threshold

**  In order to advance to the second session (next 4 weeks), teams must have:

  • Clear Indication/Trained Final Response
  • Ability to Search Independently from handler, but handler can be in sight
